Guidelines for Grant Requests

Mission: to expand and enhance the educational opportunities available to the students of the Cedar Grove-Belgium School District.

Who should apply: Individuals or groups seeking to enhance learning opportunities in the CGB School District are encouraged to apply. http://donorschoose.org

What: We consider projects, programs, materials, equipment or technology that promote creative and innovative instruction, enhance learning, and affect a large number of students

What we cannot fund: State required/mandated curriculum, building/operational expenses, staff positions, field Trips

Criteria: How it enhances learning, level of creativity and innovation, number of students impacted, amount of funds available, & number of requests received

We have used donorschoose.org to fund school and individual teacher projects. If you are a teacher, please complete your project at http://donorschoose.org

If funds permit, twice per year, the Foundation will review this site, in order to fund projects. Thank you.
